Return and Refund Policy

At Bharatsastra Store, we are committed to delivering high-quality puja items to your doorstep with care and devotion. Since our products are primarily religious and perishable in nature, we follow a strict yet fair return and refund policy. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

1. Items Eligible for Return or Replacement

You may request a return, refund, or replacement under the following conditions:

  • You received wrong items (not matching your order).
  • You received damaged or defective products (e.g. broken Diya, torn packaging, spoiled leaves, etc.).
  • You received missing items from your order.

📸 Note: Photo or video evidence is required for any damaged, missing, or wrong item claims.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

Due to the religious and perishable nature of many items, the following are non-returnable:

  • Fresh items like bel pata, tulsi, flowers, durva grass, betel leaves, fruits, etc.
  • Items that have been used, opened, or tampered with.
  • Orders where the delivery was delayed due to reasons beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or incorrect address provided by the customer.
  • Custom orders based on uploaded personal samagri lists (unless items are clearly damaged or missing).

3. Return Request Timeline

  • You must raise your return or refund request within 6 hours of delivery.
  • Requests made after this time window will not be accepted.

4. How to Raise a Request

To raise a return or refund request:

  1. Email us at support@bharatsastra.com or WhatsApp us at +91-XXXXXXXXXX
  2. Include your:
    • Order ID
    • Clear photo/video of the issue
    • Description of the problem

5. Refund Process

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we will initiate a UPI or bank transfer after verifying your refund details.

6. Replacement Process

  • For eligible items, we will arrange a free replacement or send the missing product within the next available delivery slot.

7. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing them, provided the order hasn’t been packed or dispatched.
  • Once your order is packed or out for delivery, cancellation is not possible.
